PagerDuty + Verkada API Integration
Getting started with Verkada and PagerDuty
Benefits of Setting up Verkada and PagerDuty
- Notify on-call responders based on notifications from Verkada
- Create high and low urgency incidents based on the alert type
How it Works
Notification types that are selected will be sent as events to a service in PagerDuty opening an incident. If online and offline notifications are selected then offline notifications will be resolved if the camera goes back online.
Requirements
- PagerDuty integrations require an Admin base role for account authorization. If you do not have this role, please reach out to an Admin or Account Owner within your organization to configure the integration.
- To get the information from Verkada to complete the setup, you will need to be an organization admin. If you do not have this role please reach out to an organization administrator so they can configure the integration. Read more about permissions here.
